This is Margaret River’s founding wine estate. This winery, established by regional pioneer Dr. Thomas Brendan Cullity, began with the notion of creating the best possible wine.
Today, everyone is invited to tour the winery and partake in the amazing food created by chef Brendan Pratt. Chef Pratt and his team create amazing dishes based on the wines available. To get started, enjoy charcuterie and pair it with the Classic Dry White. This is a popular blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc that is sure to delight. The Classic Dry White is a pure fruit style wine that has been made by Vasse Felix since 1987. This zesty and crisp wine will pair well with cheeses and fruits.
Next move on to the mouth-watering entrées featuring Stracciatella or the Kingfish. Both entrées pair well with the Heytesbury Chardonnay or the Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. .

Cullen Wines
Cullen Wines offers a very unique take on enjoying wine and local cuisine. This incredible winery uses the land to speak through their wines. Their grapes are grown in the ancient soils of Wilyabrup. The idea of all Cullen wines is to bring out the heart of the land through their wines. This process leans less on the mind of the winemaker and more on the fertile grounds of the land. Certified Grade A Organic and Biodynamic in their operations, the wine is made in the purest form possible. The land is cared for meticulously and the wine is created without additions.
This is the only biodynamic and carbon positive winery in the region and is home to the 2020 Viticulturist of the year…Vanya Cullen.

Leeuwin Estate
Leeuwin Estate, one of the five founding wineries of the region, boasts about the art of fine wine. They deliver on this by staging spectacular events, and with its Art Series wines. These wines sport fine works of art right on the wine label. The art collection now comprises over 150 paintings and art works. Many of the full works of art are on display in the Leeuwin Estate Art Gallery. The winery itself celebrates fine wine, food, as well as art and music.
Take, for instance, the 2019 Art Series Chardonnay. This bright and energetic wine is laced with mineral acidity, bursting with lemon, lime and pear skin. This pairs exceedingly well with geraldton kingfish, chicken tare, and kombu. You can also choose from mouth watering options like Geographe Bay Octopus or Oak Valley Truffle.
